Escape from Nansu

Age gap | Mutual salvation | Unrequited love becomes mutual

At fifteen, Lin Yi finally realized she had fallen for an older boy.

In her memories, Song Ji was gentle and perceptive, always able to see right through her.

When she was desperate, he comforted her.

When she was falling apart, he held her.

When she lied, he protected her.

Her big brother was like warm, soft water, soothing her parched throat and her withered heart.

Sweet big brother, kind big brother, beloved big brother.

But when she needed him most, he left her.

When they met again, Lin Yi was worth over a hundred million and could finally be a match for Song Ji.

But Song Ji avoided her, retreating into a basement that was cold in winter and hot in summer.

Lin Yi secretly followed him. She didn't dare ask what had happened to the Song family. She stood in the doorway, fixing him with a stubborn stare, silently accusing him.

Lin Yi: "Come with me."

Back in Nansu, they started over.

But Lin Yi couldn't understand: Why had she lost her big brother again?

Everything she had gained was falling apart, and the nightmare of her family came crashing back.

"Big brother, big brother." Lin Yi turned around, wanting to find the person who had pulled her out of the abyss.

A force came from behind.

Her younger brother had suddenly reached out and shoved Lin Yi toward the road.

Her younger brother: "Go die."

Lin Yi heard a bicycle horn. She saw her seventeen-year-old big brother racing toward her on his bike.

Her memories crumbled and rewound, returning to the beginning.

The hem of a white shirt, the tip of a black tie, the wind rushing past.

Lin Yi saw her big brother again in the evening light. Her lips curled into a faint smile as she held Song Ji tight and said happily, "Big brother, don't leave me again."
