(Multiverse) Make a Wish?

"I'm Yuan. Yuan as in 'wish.'" The white-haired boy pointed obediently at the girl's pen. "Don't you need to write that down?" The girl put down her pen. "Do you know what a name means?" "No. Isn't it just what people call you?" "No one's ever told me what a 'name' means." The girl gave in. "Never mind. I'll be here for three days. I'm Natsume Reiko. That's my name." Three days later, the girl was about to leave. Yuan followed her. "Why not go see the world? When you come back, you can tell me all about it," the girl suggested. Yuan set off on his journey. Nearly a century passed before he returned, happy at last. But all he found was a boy who carried a familiar aura. He ruffled the boy's hair, left him a charm woven from his own demonic power, then set off on his travels once more. Then he arrived in Yokohama and met many people. "I'm Yuan. Yuan as in 'wish.' My surname is Natsume." He figured the girl wouldn't mind if he took her surname and continued his journey. Every day in Yokohama was full and eventful, and through his friends, Yuan met even more people. "Make a wish." The light in the boy's golden eyes slowly shifted. "Just one... a wish about being alive." Later, he said goodbye to his companions and set off on another journey. "A cursed spirit?" Yuan looked at the unknown creature on the ground. He fell silent for a few seconds, then pointed at himself. "I'm not ugly... And I'm a yokai." Halloween, Shibuya. Yuan picked up the little cube and smiled at Fake Geto. "Suguru, make a wish." A familiar demonic aura swept into his golden eyes. "Just one... a beautiful wish." The part of Suguru Geto's soul that remained silently made a wish. Before his best friend, even his so-called greater good had to take a back seat. "Make a wish?" "You get one chance." Theme: Beautiful wishes need to be protected
