My Disciple Ying Chi Could Never Be the Doomsday Villain

It was the winter of 1984. A cousin from faraway Yokohama sent Shiina Ren two New Year's gifts.

Two boys with long swords on their backs stood at the door, snow settling on their heads.

"Fukuchi Sakura Chi."

"Fukuzawa."

"Please teach us, Sensei."

It was the winter of 1984. The Mirror Lion and the Silver Wolf received the same graduation exam assignment.

"Go to this woman's side and get close to her."

"Are we supposed to eliminate her?"

"No. Take the power of [One Order] that belongs to her."

A story born from the lingering frustration after the Airport Arc. No spoilers, but let's just say the frustration runs deep.

= A few notes =

1. One Order: A communication device created by an ability engineer. It makes subordinates follow orders to the letter. In the original work, it is locked away at the Antarctic Ability Artifact Management Center and is one of the sealed 'Three Great Disasters.' (See the details in chapter 91 of the manga.)

2. The timeline is 1984. The original only vaguely says the Captain and the President were childhood friends, so in this story they are the same age, both twelve. This is nineteen years before the Angel of Death incident, twenty-seven years before Mr. Mori takes over the mafia, and seven years before Ranpo is born.
