My Husband Is a Little Fierce

General Shen Xi, the number one dandy in the capital, was stabbed through the heart by his trusted deputy on the battlefield and ended up in another world, in the body of a poor ger. Have these people gone mad? They dare expect him to marry? To have a child? Shen Xi scoffed and slammed a kitchen knife into the table. "What kind of joke is this? Anyone who dares make me have a child will be sent off to be reborn as one!" Gu Huan rushed in from outside, panting, and slapped the silver he'd just borrowed onto the table. "I want to marry Shen Xi. Here's two taels of silver for the betrothal gifts. If it isn't enough, I'll go borrow more." Shen Xi, who had just finished making his threat: ... Gu Huan, just noticing the kitchen knife standing on the table: !!! * Shen Xi, who had only ever spent money and never earned any, stared at the single coin in his palm and fell into deep thought. How was he supposed to earn enough to support himself and pay for the bookish fool next door, Gu Huan, to study? From then on, Shen Xi left his mark all across Great Qi. The bandits in the mountains: We were just sitting at home. How did disaster fall from the sky? One dark and stormy night, their entire stronghold was looted. The hideouts of retired bandits and outlaws: To the brothers upstairs, we understand. We'd already turned over a new leaf, and still got wiped out in one fell swoop. The Japanese pirates on the coast: We used to be able to raid Great Qi every now and then, but now... sob, they've upgraded their weapons. The nobles of the northern frontier: That Shen fellow cheated us out of so much money. The people in the capital getting ready to put a sack over his head: ...So we're not the ones who've had it worst after all. (A ger who can do nothing but fight, and his unconventional rags-to-riches story.) A fierce ger who flirts without realizing it and thinks he's the pursuer, paired with a proper, shy scholar who becomes a dramatic, jealous schemer later on. Content notes: 1. The recipient is a ger, and he's strong. There are no childbirth scenes. 2. In this setting, gers simply have the ability to bear children. 3. No farming or domestic family drama. Theme: No matter where you find yourself, live with confidence.
