A Summer Night Gone Wrong

After renting her old place again, Wen Ning got a new roommate.

Her roommate had pale, cool-toned skin, slept by day and stayed up at night, and kept running into her in the small hours. Wen Ning started to feel as if she were meeting a vampire every night.

On the thirtieth day of imagining a whole "meeting a vampire at night" scenario, something unexpected happened.

On a summer night stirred by a gentle breeze, they crossed a line.

After that ridiculous episode, Wen Ning decided to play dumb. To her surprise, the two of them somehow lost control again.

When it happened for the nth time, Wen Ning finally chose her words carefully and began, "Actually..."

Su Yan: "I understand."

Wen Ning: I haven't even said anything yet. How do you understand?

Su Yan: "I don't mind."

Wen Ning: "...What don't you mind?"

Su Yan pressed his thin lips together. The beauty mark beside his right eye caught the dappled light, making him look cool and sickly.

"If you need it, I don't mind being his stand-in."

Wen Ning: ???

Am I drunk, or are you still asleep? I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about!!!

#My roommate seems to have fallen for me over time#

#He's even offering to be my stand-in, all on his own#

#But who the hell is my unattainable first love supposed to be???!!!#
