After her divorce, Jiang Nian and her ex-wife joined the same reality show.
She was there to survive.
Her ex-wife was probably there to humiliate her.
Blurb One:
During filming, Jiang Nian had a kissing scene and decided to stop using a body double. But Zhong Qingyan, her mentor on the show, pulled her forcefully into her arms.
Her gaze swept over every inch of Jiang Nian's face before finally settling on her soft, delicate lips. She couldn't help remembering their sweet taste. Her throat bobbed. "Niannian, are you done messing around?"
Jiang Nian's eyes reddened. She gently pushed Zhong Qingyan away and curved her lips in a mocking smile. "Director Zhong, what gives you the right to control me?"
Blurb Two:
Ever since The Actor's Craft aired, Director Zhong had been known for her harsh criticism of contestants. Her comments were always incisive and merciless.
Later, an observant online viewer noticed that Director Zhong had never once been sharp-tongued with Jiang Nian.
Rumors spread, and viewers edited together every time Director Zhong had intentionally or unintentionally looked at Jiang Nian. Her gaze was so tender and doting that it seemed they had uncovered something big.
Then, during the final episode's livestream, the camera crew made a surprise visit to the actors' practice rooms.
Jiang Nian's door was ajar. Just as the crew was about to push it open, they heard Jiang Nian's voice...
"Don't you know people online are saying we're having an affair? Why are you here?"
Zhong Qingyan smiled and hugged Jiang Nian. "We're not having an affair. We're legally married."
"..."
After the show ended, Zhong Qingyan tagged Jiang Nian on Weibo: I'm not playing favorites. You're simply the one I favor and make an exception for.
Theme: It was love at first sight, and a love that would last a lifetime.
