After the Worlds Were Blended, Why Is the Villain Like That?

[Third-person narration]

When I woke up, my room had been joined to a man's room.

The world split in two around my room as its center: one half was old-fashioned, freezing in winter and sweltering in summer; the other was tastefully decorated and kept at a comfortable temperature.

The door from my room led to a modern world with unparalleled technology.

The door from his room led to a fantasy world full of gods and demons.

I'm an utterly ordinary college student.

He's a great demon everyone wants dead.

I'm easygoing, gentle, and polite, always saying "Hello" and "Excuse me."

He's cold, aloof, and unbearably arrogant, always saying "Get lost" and "Shut up."

I'm scared to death.

Until, later on,

I learn magic in the fantasy world and cleave three monsters in half with one sword strike.

He learns to cook in the modern world and masters the peerless knife skills needed to make thatched-roof tofu.

And now,

Wonderful. I'm the overlord of the fantasy world, while he's a food influencer in the modern world.

We both have a beautiful future ahead of us...

--Wait, what? Didn't you say you were the great villain, feared by everyone and standing above all others? If you're picking out every single cilantro leaf, how are you supposed to be a food influencer?!!

And you! Get off that heated floor and show me that cold, aloof, unbearably arrogant attitude you had at the start!

That's what I believe: villains are all catlike.
