A gentle gong with an external brain * a shou whose intelligence fluctuates wildly
Qi Wuyi, founding emperor and current Demon Venerable, transmigrates into modern society and accidentally discovers that the world he originally lived in is the setting of a female-dominant romance novel with a tragic love story.
The good news: in the book, he finds that his beloved, who confessed to him before disintegrating himself into the heavens and earth, has come back to life.
The bad news: in the book, he and his beloved both fall for the female lead.
Qi Wuyi: I don't understand, but I am deeply shocked.
Just as Qi Wuyi is about to tear the book apart in a fit of rage, he suddenly succeeds in overcoming his tribulation at the Great Ascension stage and returns to his original world, bringing the unfinished novel with him.
Then he discovers that his amnesiac beloved thinks Qi Wuyi is treating him as a stand-in.
Qi Wuyi: What can save you, my Yuan?
PS: Both transmigrate. The gong travels from the present to the past, while the shou travels from the past to the present and then back to the past.
Theme: Follow your heart without crossing the line
