The Sword That Seized the Bright Moon

(The original premise has been changed. I didn't think it through enough and wasn't sure how to handle it, so I sincerely apologize. I'll make it up to everyone with red envelopes when I post the first chapter.) The last emperor of Jing was obsessed with pleasure, and the entire royal family followed his example, indulging in extravagance and corruption. The dynasty was on the brink of collapse. The little princess Baojue followed the "example" set by her parents and older siblings and chose a man she liked for herself. But before she could enjoy herself, the rebel army stormed the city, and Jing fell. With her other relatives' fates unknown, Baojue was rescued from the palace by her personal guard, Zhu E, and fled among the common people. At first, she ordered him to help her restore the kingdom. Then she asked him to escort her to her fiance's army. In the end, Baojue understood that Zhu E only wanted to keep her for himself and turn her into an ordinary village woman. How could she possibly accept that? Zhu E had long coveted his noble, pampered mistress. Now that the phoenix had fallen into the mud, should he help her soar back to the clouds, or teach her to accept her fate? As Zhu E saw his chance, his disguise gradually fell away. With the difference in their status erased, it was time to sate his hunger, too. Zhu E wasn't afraid that Baojue would try to leave again and again. He would make her understand how dangerous these chaotic times were, and that she had no choice but to live under his protection. One day, Baojue would love him, too. But just when Zhu E thought Baojue had settled down after giving him a child, she vanished one day. Only then did Zhu E understand that this woman was gentle in appearance but ruthless at heart, and that she was best at simply walking away. Theme: A good relationship takes work.
