[Western Crossover] A Few Things About Earth

A dragon slept at the center of the Earth. One day, the dragon awoke and found countless living beings on its body, keeping it from moving. It watched and pondered. The ordinary lives and heroic hearts moved the heart it had long forgotten how to beat. So it accepted its fate: its physical body perished, blessing the mountains, rivers, seas, skies, and land, while its consciousness awoke as a new living planet. It knew its name was Earth. The new life was welcomed on the planets' public channel. Mogo, one of the few living planets able to move freely, said: I'll come visit you :) Superheroes: !!? The Sun: The Milky Way is crowded enough already, thanks! That's the backstory. What follows are the troubles Earth got up to after waking. Earth figured she needed a guardian, in case the superheroes ever blew her up, so... She opened her eyes in the darkness. From then on, her name was Ann. She was Earth's guardian. From then on, Earth thought of Ann as her sweetest little baby, and bared her teeth at anyone who laid a hand on her. However... Earth: Ann! I'm eloping with Mogo! He said he'd offer the OA as a bride price!!! Don't worry, I gave birth to you for this very reason. You can do it! Ann: Who's Mogo? What can I do? Who gave birth to whom? Weren't we supposed to be the mom and daughter? And what will happen to you if you go to the Sun?! Ann: Could the Green Lanterns next door please keep your colleagues from hitting on everyone they meet!!! Green Lantern Hal, sent over by the little blue men to discuss a marriage alliance, said: I don't know anything!!! [Note] [The main story takes place across the universe. The Earth-based chapters are mainly everyday life with the superheroes. The space-based story will initially feature the Lantern Corps, the Justice League while they're away, and superheroes who end up in space for one reason or another. The Earth-based story will mainly feature the Avengers, and probably some Titans. There will be some original alien civilizations and lots and lots of living planets.] Theme: Because we were young and knew so little, one glance became an eternal longing.
