Shi Zui nuzzled Chu Mizhi's wrist with the tip of her nose and smiled. "Sister Chu, your pheromones smell so good. They smell like mint."
Only then did Chu Mizhi realize she had actually differentiated into an Omega.
Shi Zui tilted her head. "Do my pheromones smell good?"
Chu Mizhi immediately realized she felt as if she were soaking in gin with an incredibly high alcohol content. Her head was spinning, and she could barely get the words out.
Chu Mizhi hesitated. "Um, could you... tone it down a little?"
Shi Zui shook her head. "I can't."
Her lashes trembled, and her voice was soft. "I couldn't do it before, and I can't do it now."
"Don't you like it? Me last night, my pheromones, you don't like any of it?"
She advanced step by step, and Chu Mizhi, flustered, could only retreat and dodge.
As Shi Zui spoke, her voice grew more fragile, and large tears began to roll down her cheeks. The slender girl kept wiping her tears with the back of her hand, crying as hard as she had when she was little. She tugged at Chu Mizhi's clothes and said, "Sister Chu, please don't leave me behind again this time, okay?"
