1. Tang Yuche, the second-generation heir of the Tang family, has done whatever he pleases since childhood, and nobody can keep him in line except Duan Jiali. Beloved by her family, the eldest daughter of the Duan family is his childhood sweetheart, and they were betrothed as infants.
Ever since Duan Jiali was old enough to know better, she had been making sure he behaved like a gentleman and minded his manners. Tang Yuche lazily pulled his uniform back on over his bare torso, zipped it up, then slowly spread his arms, his tone full of impatience.
“Discipline committee? Hurry up. I’m tired.”
“Eating candy this late? Be careful you don’t get another cavity.”
Duan Jiali put away her flashlight and walked over without hurry. With practiced ease, she took the pack of cigarettes from his pocket and helped herself to a peach-flavored hard candy, then gently scolded him for nearly half an hour.
