One day, while bungee jumping, Feng Youzhi plunged into a martial world in another realm.
As she fell from ten thousand meters above the ground, the System gave her two choices:
1. Become the greatest martial artist in the world and right wrongs every day.
2. Land headfirst and turn into a meat patty.
Without a moment’s hesitation, Feng Youzhi shouted loud enough to pierce the clouds, “I want to be the greatest in the world!”
Her “exceptional talent” activated at once. She landed in the middle of a martial arts tournament and immediately began righting wrongs, defeating one expert after another and rescuing a frail, sickly young man who was being bullied.
From then on, she and the young man became fugitives together.
At a bamboo grove estate, Feng Youzhi fought hundreds of people outside while the frail young man stayed inside, concentrating on cooking a meal for her.
When Feng Youzhi returned after easily taking down hundreds of opponents, the pale young man offered her a bowl of silver ear fungus soup he had made himself. Blushing, he asked softly, “If I cook for you every day, will you protect me for three years?”
Looking at the frail young man before her, who seemed liable to die from a single cough, Feng Youzhi suspected he could barely hold a ladle, let alone cook. Doubtfully, she took a sip of the soup, then another bowl, then the whole pot. After finishing it, she slapped the table and praised it to the skies, then readily replied, “Forget three years. I’ll protect you for the rest of your life.”

Xu Xiaohen was born with a keen sense of people’s likes and dislikes, and loved tearing off everyone’s masks.
At the martial arts tournament, everyone should have perished in the poisonous mist. But a woman fell from the sky, saved them all, and took him away.
On a whim, he asked her to protect him for three years, acting pitiful in front of her while waiting for the right moment to tear her apart.
But when that moment came, he tore himself open instead. Grabbing the girl by both wrists, he whispered in her ear, “You promised to protect me for the rest of my life, so not a single day can be missing. Don’t even think about leaving me, not one step.”
