The Ridiculous Villain Antagonist Crashed and Burned

After transmigrating into a book as the vicious villain, Qiao Yin discovers he's doomed either way: follow the plot and the protagonist will kill him, but break character and he'll be struck by lightning.

Qiao Yin appeals to the heavens in exasperation. Is there no way to have fun anymore?

Besides, nobody ever taught him how to be evil!

If he can't be a domineering, arrogant villain, then he'll just have to be a clown. Maybe the protagonist will go easy on him later if his crimes are minor and he doesn't hold a grudge?

Qiao Yin quickly devises a series of evil schemes.

The protagonist, Ji Xing, is destitute, going hungry half the time. After working hard to buy himself a burger and fries, Qiao Yin snatches them away and tosses him a box of cold bento instead. Putting himself in the other person's shoes, Qiao Yin knows that for a foodie, this is a terrible humiliation.

Ji Xing silently opens the box. It has a balanced mix of meat and vegetables, and it's still warm to the touch, clearly having been kept in someone's arms for a long time.

Why has this guy suddenly changed? He's deliberately stopping him from eating junk food and even sharing his lunch?

The flag-raising ceremony is on Monday. Qiao Yin brazenly steals the protagonist's uniform and gives him an old one he no longer wants. Nothing could be more humiliating.

Except he forgets that the uniform was already a little oversized, so it fits Ji Xing perfectly.

Ji Xing runs a hand over the pristine white fabric and falls silent.

The plan goes just as he imagined, and only the final blow remains. Qiao Yin is delighted. He secretly steals the love letter the class beauty wrote to the protagonist and reads it aloud in front of the entire class. For a teenage boy, nothing could be more embarrassing.

Wait, why isn't there a name on the back of the letter?

Then he sees Ji Xing's odd expression, and Qiao Yin feels his whole world crumble.

QAQ It wasn't me! I didn't! I wasn't trying to confess!
