To fight against the Heavenly Principles, the Traveler Aether from the continent of Teyvat brought his companions to another world during the final battle. But this world was unwilling to accept visitors from another realm. To deepen their bond with the world, they decided to choose one of its "protagonists" as Aether's partner, using this contract to become part of the world. That protagonist was the strongest in the Jujutsu Society: Gojo Satoru.
As the one who brought his companions to another world through their contract, Aether must regularly "recharge" them with magic until the world accepts them, and until they can light all seven Statues of the Seven on this continent. Only then will Aether no longer have to overdraw his power.
By chance, however, Aether discovered that getting intimate with Gojo Satoru could "recharge" him. So he began enthusiastically fulfilling his duties as Mrs. Gojo.
