[Dazai X Reader] A Handful of Sand

Dark Dazai x "Me"

Why I started this:

Whether in fiction or in real life, Dazai's mindset is well worth examining and easy to relate to. Using Asagiri Kafka's fictional Yokohama as a backdrop, and interacting with "Dazai," I just want to write a little about my observations and reflections on the human condition.

A few things to know before reading:

1. First-person fanfiction with an original female protagonist. You could say this is something I wrote just for myself.

2. I'll try to follow the story as it unfolds while telling my own story. This is not a universally appealing wish-fulfillment romance.

3. There are original headcanons, and works by real-world authors are used as references.

4. I personally don't think this overlaps with any other work. If it does, then you copied me.

5. The length is undecided, and I might abandon the story and run off. Compared to Asagiri Kafka's knives, abandoning a story is already very kind of me. (Just saying.)
