[My ongoing novel, The Great Beauty and the Ship of Fools: a gorgeous, flirtatious heartbreaker x a cool and gentle (at first), polite madman (later) male doctor.
It's started, and there's plenty to read~ Find it next door!]
Synopsis:
"He's like a stray cat that wants affection but doesn't dare ask for it."
Xu Tong was a delicate little flower raised in a greenhouse. During the summer vacation of her freshman year, a family upheaval forced her to return to her hometown, a tiny northern city ranked thirty-eighth in the country: dry, rundown, with even the sky gray.
Li Ren was a stray cat from the bottom of society, following his uncle around, fighting and scraping by. He drifted through life, unable to see even a glimmer of light.
Xu Tong still remembered the day they first crossed paths.
The sun was shining bright.
But he stood in the darkest alley, his black T-shirt outlining a tall, solid build that still had the leanness of a boy. He had a thug pinned against the wall.
Hearing footsteps, he turned around.
He spat out a bloody mouthful, his eyes shadowed.
The young man was handsome, bold, and defiant. His dark phoenix eyes tilted slightly upward, and every inch of him warned people to keep their distance. He radiated menace.
Yet the longer Xu Tong looked at him, the more familiar he seemed.
He reminded her of a black stray cat she'd adopted as a child.
It had fought other cats in alleys for territory just like this, beautiful but ferocious as hell.
"Meow?" she couldn't help murmuring to him.
Li Ren: ?

Later.
Many years later, on the day Li Ren won the championship.
They returned here and sat beneath the same eaves where they had once watched the rain together.
"You know, I always thought you were a lot like a little stray cat I adopted. You were super fierce. Whenever I picked it up, it ran away. It wouldn't let me pet it at all, and it was always snapping at me. QAQ"
"Mm." The man rested his head on her thigh, holding an unlit cigarette between his teeth. He turned his eyes aside without looking at her and answered in a low, husky voice.
"So you agree you're like that?" Xu Tong scoffed, recalling, "No, you were way fiercer. Once, when I was asleep, it actually jumped beside my pillow and gently brushed against my face. It was so sweet~"
Before she could finish, she met Li Ren's instinctively dark gaze.
Xu Tong stared in shock, then blushed. "Could it be that you also..."

1. A cool, aloof, wild guy x a sweet, delicate little flower. Both are adults.
2. They save each other. A very, very innocent first-love story. I'll try to write for the pure-love faithful?
3. A young man becomes a TT motorcycle racing world champion; a schoolgirl becomes a French translator. A coming-of-age story with a happy ending.

My ongoing novel, The Great Beauty and the Ship of Fools, is already quite long:
Chu Zhixia has recently become obsessed with going to a public hospital to get her teeth checked.
The young dentist is a top graduate from University A, cool and handsome, wearing an immaculate white coat. His cleanly defined peach-blossom eyes are long and slightly upturned, cool as frost. He wraps himself up tightly, yet there's a small, light-brown, enticing mole near his collarbone. He's beautiful and abstinent, and after taking off his gloves, his fingers are long and pale, with an aloof cleanliness that goes to the bone.
What she likes best is his gentle, patient manner.
Whenever she furrows her brow a little during treatment,
he leans down and gently supports her chin with slender fingertips. His voice is low, gentle, and magnetic. "Does it hurt?"
Later, she finally won him over. As she wished, they moved somewhere else, in another setting. She kissed his reddened ear and that alluring little mole, listening as his voice turned low and husky, with a faint, broken edge, and asked, "Does it hurt like this?"
Much later.
Chu Zhixia started to feel a little bored, blocked him, and disappeared without a trace.
Until a financial crisis hit the Chu family, and her relatives arranged a blind date for her with the young master of the powerful Shen family.
That night, it was like a storm.
The usually cool, quiet young man pinned her against the edge of the table. His eyes red, he asked her fiercely, "I'm always the one asking if it hurts..."
"Do you know how much it hurts me?"
The Ship of Fools comes from a satirical poem collection. It is a ship cut off from the world, sailing to an unknown destination, filled with fools and madmen. When cut off from the outside world, those shut inside turn sickly and devour themselves.
During the many nights when Chu Zhixia was "asked to stay" at the Shen home, shut away from daylight, she touched his beautiful, obsessive eyes, tinged red, and looked at his slender fingers, pale from straining.
She thought he had boarded that ship before she had.

"Why did you stop flirting with me, hmm?"
The young man was still wearing his immaculate white coat. His face was cool and handsome, his fingers cold as jade, yet he suddenly lifted her chin. His low, suggestive breath brushed her ear, making her heart clench and tremble. He asked in a deep voice.
"Please continue." His fingers tightened again and again as he pinned her cruelly against the wall. Her back quivered with pain, yet his voice stayed as mild and gentle as ever, even a little polite, just like before.
He's so crazy.
But that's fine. I love him so much.

A gorgeous, flirtatious heartbreaker x a cool and gentle (at first), polite madman (later) male doctor
Drama student x dentist. It's a sweet romance! Both are each other's first, and both are virgins.
The heroine is a heartbreaker at first, then becomes an expert at spoiling her husband. Marriage is part of the story, and they dote on each other.
Theme: They save each other.
Woc, after reading the full text, Qingshi doesn't quite understand why the release of two people's feelings has to involve the uncle's life. He obviously plans to live a good life with that beautiful sister. It's such a pity. It's harmful. (Personal complaint, no derogatory meaning.
Congratulations on finishing the main text! ! I really like Brother Ren and Tongtong TT! Happy July!
Ah, actually, I don't quite understand why the plot of Uncle An's death is included. I feel it's useless and I'm not happy to watch it.
Awesome. I will always support you.
It's coming ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
