Her fiance was covered in blood. Terrified, Xia Li said, "Let my fiance go first. Yu Ciheng is worth far more than fifty million."

Blood trickled from the corner of Yu Ciheng's mouth as he burst into loud laughter in front of them all.

Grief-stricken and desperate, he broke free of his captors and advanced on her step by step. "You promised you wouldn't change."

Xia Li took half a step back and calmly replied, "I haven't changed. I just never loved you."

This is basically the story of a man with no parents, no power, and no wife, and how he walks the line between good and evil and grows as a person.
