I’m Destined to Be the Zenin Clan Head

[To make sure this story suits your tastes, please don't subscribe to every chapter at once. Thank you!] [Blurb] Zenin Tsukio was a typical Chinese girl in her previous life. After an untimely death, she brought her memories with her to another world and was reborn into a prominent family with the surname Zenin. Then her father, whose name need not be mentioned, hid her true gender to compete for the position of clan head, forcing her to live as a boy from birth. Zenin Tsukio: “...” What an old-fashioned trope. Her younger brother was a handful, and her family was even worse, but Zenin Tsukio still made it to the age of six, when she awakened the strongest inherited technique: Ten Shadows Technique. Her summons seem a little different from what's written in the records, but no matter. Becoming the strongest is just around the corner. * A father-daughter talk: Her father: “As long as you keep this secret forever, you'll be the next head of the Zenin clan.” Tsukio: “No.” Her father: “Don't you want to be clan head?” Tsukio: “Once I've crushed everyone in the Zenin clan underfoot, I'll be the head.” Her father laughs. “Good luck. I'm rooting for you.” * A talk between siblings: “If I become clan head one day, will you come back?” “No.” A merciless rejection from someone with a Heavenly Restriction. “Huh?” * A talk among the strongest: “Take down the Big Three?” “Done. Let's go.” PS: 1. The main story and bonus chapters have no pairings. I won't pair characters up unless it's canon. The story is all about family and friendship. 2. The timeline may be heavily altered, and there are headcanons everywhere. 3. Everyday slice of life, slow-paced, and fairly long. 4. Going premium on Wednesday, July 31. Thanks for your support! A little promo for my upcoming story, “Shiori from Nekoma High School.” I'm a high school girl who doesn't like sports or running and isn't good at talking to people. I'm the libero on the girls' volleyball team. Kenma asks listlessly, “Why would you put yourself through playing volleyball?” I answer listlessly, “Good question. Why did you decide to play setter, Kenma?” The culprit is Kuroo, of course. :D … “What was your surname again?” Without looking up, I make one up on the spot. “Kuroo.” Kenma looks up from his game. “You said Kuroo last time, too.” “Oh, did I? I'll make up for it by saying Kozume next time.” Kenma looks back down. “Mm.” Later “Shiori, will you marry me?” “...?” “If you marry me, you can really have the surname Kozume.” “...” I'm tempted. PS: 1. The pairing is Kenma, the feline setter. It's an illogical little sweet story, so expect out-of-character moments and headcanons everywhere. 2. Mainly Haikyuu!!, an utterly ordinary slice-of-life story. Told entirely in third person. Theme: Building a better future
