Lu Huaisheng first met Jiang Mian when she came with her parents to visit Lu Huai. She chattered endlessly, then, after talking to his dad, ran next door to chat with an old lady. Lu Huaisheng had never known someone could be so noisy. Heavens knew how badly he wanted her to shut up.

Until one day, he clutched the hem of her clothes and pleaded, "Don't leave me."

Lu Huaisheng's brain short-circuited. Jealousy rose in his heart and began to take root. He was really... jealous.

From that day on, he practiced guitar behind her back. The day before the performance, he finally worked up the courage to take her hand. "Does it have to be him?" Jiang Mian teased him with a smile. "Who else would I ask? You?"
