Research prodigy Mu Zhi was murdered just after attending an international seminar. When she realized she had transmigrated, she was clinging to the male lead and insisting she would marry no one but him.
Wasting her best years on a man? Struck as if by lightning, Mu Zhi promptly grabbed the metal wrench beside her. "What are you staring at? Watch it, or I'll take you apart like a machine."
Wasn't serving the country through scientific research enough? Why bother with men?
Wouldn't building a hundred production lines be a better use of her time? Surely they'd be worth more than a man.
So while the male and female leads went on a date in a cornfield, Mu Zhi built the country's first corn husker;
while they pledged themselves to each other, Mu Zhi repaired the country's first imported hydraulic press;
and by the time they were getting married, Mu Zhi was representing her country at an international seminar and earning applause from the whole world.
Male lead: ...
What happened to the lovestruck country girl who was supposed to follow him around?
Meanwhile, the military industry big shot secretly hid the missing-person notice, grinning like a starving wolf.
