Cheng Shi and Zhong Nian were childhood friends. They had a mutual crush on each other all through high school, and got together as soon as they graduated.
When it came time to fill out their university applications, they both chose the same school, since their grades were about the same. They picked their majors according to their own interests, but being the clingy couple they were, determined to stick together no matter what, they signed up for the same elective.
Setting: During their junior-year winter break, the two went home, only to end up taking online classes there because of the pandemic.
