[Thai Version of Boys Over Flowers] Coup De Foudre

[cpRen / Thailand's Redemption / Transformation]

In her fifth year in prison, Lin Rui was in good mental and physical health when she died unexpectedly. Reborn at thirteen, she receives a new identity: Rei. She has money, connections, and a brother, along with an illness. But only the illness has anything to do with her.

Rei has been frail and sickly since childhood, and she's also an illegitimate daughter. After an accident causes her soul to switch bodies, she develops aphasia as well. On her first day back at school after leaving the hospital, Kavin's childhood friend Thyme mocks and bullies her. Unable to speak, she fights back with force and beats him into the hospital. She becomes famous at school, but a week later, she's sent abroad.

Five years later, Rei is forced to return home to marry for the sake of an alliance. On the stormy, thunder-filled night she arrives, she goes to a bar and finds someone to spend the night with. The next morning, she discovers that the man she slept with is Ren, another of her brother's friends.
