Bai Zhen transmigrates into the story as a weak rabbit spirit with an exceptionally alluring body. Everyone wants to eat her, and only the Immortal Venerable Yichen is willing to protect her.
She offers him her whole heart, becoming his servant and bed companion, humbling herself to the dust, all for a single glance from the Immortal Venerable.
In the Illusory Void Realm, her spiritual core is cut out, her divine meridians severed, and she falls from the Lingxu Terrace. Bai Zhen dies, her soul returning to the Netherworld.
To get through this utterly ridiculous and unbelievably difficult tribulation of love, she gives everything she has and does her very best.
Who would have thought that, because she went too far, even this Immortal Venerable, whose heart had been frozen for millennia, would succumb to mortal desire and personally descend to the Netherworld to search for her.
From then on, the Three Realms enjoy a long era of peace and harmony. Only the aloof, otherworldly Immortal Venerable in the Illusory Void Realm is tormented by his inner demon, often holding a rabbit as he gazes into the distance.
By the banks of Lingwei Marsh, a woman's long lashes tremble, and she slowly awakens.
As the only true god in the Three Realms and Six Directions, she has certainly gone through a winding, heart-wrenching tribulation. Whatever, first she'll go find the Matchmaking Immortal and ask for a bowl of love-forgetting soup to soothe her throat.
At the next year's Ascension Ceremony, with everyone watching, Immortal Venerable Yichen approaches her with a rabbit in his arms. "Miss, you ate my spirit herbs while going through your tribulation. How about settling the bill?"
The true god raises an eyebrow. "I've heard the Immortal Venerable is disciplined and restrained. I didn't expect you to be so frivolous."
