On the third day of Gojo Satoru's deep sleep, Jie was approached by a Love System.
System: "I can pull his consciousness into a little world. As long as you successfully win him over, he'll wake up."
Jie frowned. "How do I win him over?"
System: "Make him say 'I love you' out loud."
It was a deal that suited them both. Jie thought for two seconds, then agreed.

The devout saint quietly wiped the blood splashed across his thumb, then knelt beneath the statue, begging the God of Light for mercy.
The deity cast a casual glance his way. From that moment on, the pure-white god was dragged from his altar, and darkness enveloped the continent.
In the dim sanctuary, the god let out a broken sob, swallowing the rest of it. The saint gently kissed the tear tracks at the corner of his eye.
"My god, even if light falls into darkness, light still waits at the end of the darkness."

The lawless school bully rescued a helpless victim from a gang of thugs, but failed to notice the glint of a blade peeking from his pocket.
The next time they met was in a rainy alley. The bully held an umbrella over him and took the drenched puppy home.
The bully, with a backpack full of love letters, was blocked by the helpless victim he'd thought he knew. The other boy backed him into a corner, pressing him against the wall.
"I heard you like me. Is that true?"
