When an Escape Game NPC Wants to Quit

The story will be available for purchase starting with Chapter 20 on February 29! Please check out my upcoming story, The Ex-Husband Is the Escape Game Boss! Fang Jing spent some time living as a person, but after she died, she became an NPC in an escape game. Every day, she had to record how many things the players had broken, how much food they had eaten, how much fear they had caused, and how many scares the other NPCs had delivered, among other things. Tired of working herself to the bone and getting only a meager fixed salary despite working overtime every day, she decided to quit! She would join the players and play the game! Being a player was great. There was food, drink, entertainment, and a place to stay. It was even more fun than a paid vacation. She could explore all kinds of places without having to sleep beside piles of paperwork and reports. It was so much more relaxing. But the NPCs kept getting in her way... An NPC whose head had just been chopped off by a player came to Fang Jing, holding his head and sobbing. "Waaah, Lord Jingjing, I really wasn't the one who threw that knife to the player. Please don't put it on my record. Could you give me a few more scare points instead?" A long-haired NPC in white whose face couldn't be seen grabbed Fang Jing in a small grove and wouldn't let go. "Lord Jing! I wasn't the one who broke those trees! I'm innocent! Please go easy on me!" The green-eyed monster killed a player one moment, then grinned at Fang Jing the next. "Lord Jing, I'm impressive, right? Count me in for this year's Best Employee Award, okay?" In the end, even the BOSS came looking for her. With black mist swirling beneath his feet, dressed in a sharp suit and one hand in his pocket, he pinned Fang Jing against the wall. His eyes reddening, he said, "Have you had enough? This year's Award for Loyalty and Dedication goes to you. Now come back to work with me." The NPC heroine only wants to quit and do her best to fit in with the players VS the BOSS hero, who will do anything to keep his employee, even at the cost of himself Theme: Work hard and live happily
