After Finding the Blind Crown Prince (Both Reborn)

Shen Yan is the third son of Emperor Jingcheng. Elegant as jade and bright as the moon, he is the dream man of countless young ladies in the capital. One day, the Crown Prince, who had been missing for over half a year, suddenly returned to the capital with a beauty of snowy skin and flowerlike features, with a body as delicate as jade and as cold as ice. Many noble ladies were heartbroken. Later, the noble ladies discovered that this beauty called Ruanruan, though peerlessly lovely and blessed with a sweet, soft voice that had the Crown Prince utterly infatuated, even to the point of breaking off his engagement to the Prime Minister's legitimate daughter, was actually a little blind person who couldn't see anything. The Crown Princess of Great Liang could never be a little blind person of unknown origins. Everyone in the capital waited to see Ruanruan make a fool of herself, expecting the Crown Prince to reject her and Emperor Jingcheng to drive her out of the imperial city. Little did they know that not long after returning to the capital, the beauty confined in the Eastern Palace had already said more than once, in her broken, breathy voice, that she wanted to go home. - Ruanruan was born in a small mountain town and depended on her mother from a young age. In her previous life, she rescued a man while gathering herbs on the mountain. He was devastatingly handsome, but gravely injured, and blind in both eyes. Unable to turn him away, Ruanruan brought him home. She never expected that this would send her plunging into an abyss of misery. Reborn into a new life, Ruanruan was badly injured in an accident and lost her sight. She thought Shen Yan would let her go if he believed she was blind, but Shen Yan didn't care whether she could see or not. Remembering Shen Yan's almost pathological need to control her in her previous life, Ruanruan grew afraid. She pretended to go along with him, gradually letting Shen Yan lower his guard, and finally escaped during a palace upheaval. The man who should have been guarding the palace blocked her way, his gaze tender, his expression determined and yet mad. He smiled as he took the knife from her hand, held her trembling fingertips, and pressed a gentle kiss to them.
