Su Nanxing, who has no supernatural abilities, gets a pair of headphones.
Then he discovers they're connected to a game in another world?
He works hard to level up in the game, and develops his abilities in the apocalypse.
He works hard to farm in the game, and stockpiles supplies in the apocalypse.
He kills countless people in the game, and uses the equipment he gets to arm his base.
He makes a friend in the game...
...Why has this man followed him into the apocalypse?!
Su Nanxing: Since you know I'm busy struggling to survive in the apocalypse, don't bring up romance.
Qin Cong: If you won't let me come along, then I'll spend every day in the game...
Su Nanxing: What?!
Qin Cong: N-no... I mean, if you'll let me come along, I'll help you level up, farm, and grab equipment. I'll even help you fight zombies.
And in the end?
The toxic red in the game turned into two.
Players: Charge, brothers! Kill that gay couple!
The heroes of the apocalypse also became two.
Everyone: Aah, look at our divine couple!
Well, everyone has a bright future ahead of them.
