Don't Disturb Love

The entire novel is already written.

When Ding Ling was twenty-seven, she was eating fast food at McDonald's. Outside the window were posters of her ex-boyfriend, Jiang Jibai, who had been invited back to his school to give a speech as an outstanding alumnus.

Back then, Ding Ling had wanted to break up for a ridiculous reason: "You're affecting my studies."

Jiang Jibai had looked at her sadly and simply said, "Okay."

Years later, Ding Ling sat on the floor of her study, while Jiang Jibai lay beside her feet, his abs serving as her mouse pad. He asked teasingly, "Professor Ding, isn't this going to affect your work?"

Ding Ling stared at the computer screen, but her hand wasn't on the mouse. "You can affect me even more, and even more deeply."

Ding Ling was always convinced Jiang Jibai had a people-pleasing personality.

The better he treated her, the more he brought out the worst in her. To keep her conscience as clear as possible, she had no choice but to stay away from him.

But years after they broke up, he had recently started showing up around her again.
