Elina Shelley always thought she was just an ordinary little girl from Gotham. Aside from being smart and athletic, and liking Batman, there was nothing special about her.
Until one day, she picked up a battered old novel from the side of the road.
According to the story in that book, her father, whom she'd never met, was Brucie Baby, Gotham's richest man and the male lead. Her mother was a wicked supporting character who had a one-night fling with the male lead and then showed up to make a scene with her child in tow.
Elina: ??? It must just be a fanfic about Gotham's richest man. My mom being in it has to be a coincidence, right?
Then, a week later, her mother took her to knock on the gates of Wayne Manor.
Elina: ...?! Mom, don't go! In the original story, you get hit by a car and end up in a vegetative state! Mom, run!
*The heroine comes from the original story. It really is the original story, and it's ridiculously melodramatic. If you know it, please don't spoil it (snickers).
*Fragmentary destruction of the story.
*OOC warning.
*I'll do my best to research the details.
Theme: The spirit and passion of youth.
