In the year Xiaoyu started college, her roommate dragged her to a basketball game, where by sheer coincidence she met an extremely popular boy.
He looked a lot like someone she used to know, and even had the same name: Saime.
Saime treated Xiaoyu very well, doting on her almost as if she were his girlfriend.
Xiaoyu became addicted to this relationship, as if she were using it to fill a hole buried deep in her heart. Through Saime, she looked past him and toward Ximu, the person she'd buried forever in the depths of her heart.
She knew Ximu would never appear before her again, so she couldn't help craving Saime's affection more and more, and she treated him twice as well in return. She didn't know whether she was trying to make it up to herself or to Ximu.
