The cat demon You Yuting risked life and limb for her benefactor, Xun Bo Han, only to be met with his merciless, bloodstained blade.
As she lay dying, people from the cultivation world arrived. At their head was a handsome man whose face was identical to Xun Bo Han's. Only then did she realize she'd mistaken her benefactor.
No wonder Xun Bo Han had no spiritual power. He was the most evil demon in the world.
After narrowly surviving, You Yuting followed her true benefactor, Xun Bo Han, and left.
Later, she watched as Xun Bo Han unleashed chaos and bloodshed, emerging from a mountain of corpses in black robes, his handsome features cold and indifferent.
She stood in front of Xun Bo Han, shielding him, trembling as she faced the other man.
"You really mean to oppose me?" he asked, each word deliberate.
"Yes!" You Yuting replied firmly.

Xun Bo Han had an older brother named Xun Bo Han, whom he despised most of all.
Unlike him, born with a demonic constitution and scorned from childhood, then thrown into a pit of snakes after his legs were broken, Xun Bo Han had been admired by all since birth and was known throughout the cultivation world as a good man
When the cat demon who'd mistaken him called him her benefactor, he smiled and played along.
He used You Yuting without the slightest pity. Even when she was badly wounded and couldn't keep her true form, her white cat ears were stained with dust.
He pretended to imitate his brother's gentle manner and stroked her cat ears. "Well done."
White cat demons are born with a defect and are discriminated against even in the demon realm. This cat demon was weak, and her death would mean nothing.
But when she stood without hesitation in front of his older brother, an inexplicable emotion suddenly rose within him, more intense even than what he'd felt on the day everyone turned against him.

You Yuting was sure Xun Bo Han had truly gone mad.
She wanted nothing more to do with him, but he was covered in blood when he snatched her from the midst of an attack.
He cut his own face with a knife. A bright red drop slid down his jade-like features as he asked her if he still looked like his older brother.
Actually, the heroine is adored by everyone. The male lead suffers. Seriously.
