One day, Fang Yuyuan noticed that everyone looked at him differently.
The older brother who had always bullied him suddenly started fussing over him.
His adoptive parents, who had looked down on him, now treated him with obsequious respect, their eyes darting about as they walked on eggshells around him.
The school bully who had turned down his confession cornered him against a wall and awkwardly confessed his feelings.
Everyone seemed to treat him just a little differently.
Fang Yuyuan also noticed that his adoptive parents suddenly seemed to have a much wider social circle. Every visitor who came by would sneak a glance at him...
It seemed that a world he knew nothing about had appeared.

The year 2030.
A great crisis engulfed the world. Natural and man-made disasters struck, higher-dimensional forces invaded, and the world went mad. All living beings were raised as slaves by their natural predators.
Bathed in heavenly light, Fang Yuyuan became the world's only Ascendant. With his own strength, he devoured the predators and protected the world.
He bestowed the blessings of Ascendance upon all living beings, allowing everyone to awaken the power of Ascendance. Humanity devoured higher dimensions, transforming from a weak people who could only take a beating into a terrifying race that made others tremble at the sound of their name.
He was the empire's eagle, an immortal medal of honor. When he died in battle for glory, his back remained straight as a heavenly spear, and the broken feather in his hand showed every Ascendant the way forward.
The Ascendants worshipped their deceased ancestor with frenzied devotion. Memorial statues stood in close ranks, and every child wore a medal symbolizing him from birth.
After the passage of endless time, the Ascendants reached the end of their lives and underwent rebirth through Nirvana. No one expected the power of Nirvana from every Ascendant to reverse the world, sending them all back to the 2020s...
And no one expected
that they would meet their Ascendant ancestor once more: young, innocent, and adorable.
Fang Yuyuan.
