My Sort-of Childhood Friend and Brother

[This was written a long, long time ago. Since it was my first time writing and I didn't know much, the story has lots and lots of formatting issues and typos. I've made some general revisions and cut a few plotlines, around forty or fifty thousand words, so it differs somewhat from the original. The writing is a little rough, so please read with that in mind!!!]

Also known as The Mountain Scenery at Dusk

A student from the worst school in the city transfers to one of its top schools, and thanks to his powerful "connections," gets placed directly in Class One.

Xu Xi takes a closer look. Isn't this his good buddy, long lost, whereabouts unknown, destitute, and strong-willed? (Actually, they just haven't been in touch for two months.)

He also accidentally discovers his good buddy's secret: he likes guys.

What should he do? Keep their relationship as brothers in the socialist spirit, or take advantage of their proximity and make a move?

A cool, slow-to-warm-up top academic x a narcissistic, goofy, talkative bottom
