Reborn, I Became the Figure Skating Team Doctor's Most Frequent Patient

Ji Bozhou got into a car accident on his way back from the World Short Track Speed Skating Championships. In the last few seconds before he lost consciousness, the decorated athlete, winner of countless medals and honors, could think only of how he had never gotten to embrace the person he loved. The viewers are surprised by how adorable and heartwarming they are:

“The boys are so sweet and well-behaved! If he raised kids like these, he can’t be that bad a person, right?”

“They’re just following a script. He’s using the show to clean up his image.”

In the second episode, Chi Yunqian makes a mistake, but his sons end up paying for it. Without a hint of guilt, he says, “It’s fine. Kids make their own way in the world. Their good fortune is still to come.” The viewers want to criticize him, but can’t help feeling he has a point:

“Chi Yunqian’s brutally honest takes are unpleasant, but why can’t I bring myself to hate him? What is this?”
