Princess, please check out the upcoming story at the bottom, Princess Rong Xian of the Qing Dynasty.
---------Story blurb---------------
After transmigrating into the Kangxi era as Zhao Jia, the primary consort of the Thirteenth Prince, Zhao Jia felt a chill of dread. This was the man Kangxi would keep under house arrest for ten years!
But he would become a famous prince with an iron-capped title. His health was poor, and he would die young, but that was all right. She was great at nursing people back to health!
Soon, the other secondary consorts and concubines in the Thirteenth Prince's household noticed that their primary consort was so laid-back!
When they scrambled to go on outings with the prince, the primary consort had someone bring them a packet of Chinese medicine.
When they schemed to run into the prince in the garden, the primary consort had someone bring them a bowl of Chinese medicine.
When they all got pregnant, the primary consort was still brewing Chinese medicine for the prince!
Were primary consorts all this laid-back nowadays? Had they given up on men?
Zhao Jia, brewing medicine: Hah! If you want a good life, you can't do without your Chinese medicine!
Content notes:
1. The male lead has secondary consorts and so on. I'll include those recorded in history, but the female lead is the only one he truly loves.
2. There are fewer historical records about Yinxiang than about Yongzheng, and many details were omitted. I'll add some for the sake of the story and explain them in the author's notes.
3. This is my first time writing, so please go easy on me. The most important thing is to enjoy the story!
-----------Blurb for Princess Rong Xian of the Qing Dynasty------------
When Rong Xian woke up, she discovered that she had transmigrated! No Wi-Fi, no phone. Three-year-old Rong Xian sat on a swing and sighed:
Ah, life in this lonely palace is as cold as snow! How can I get through it without finding some fun? And so...
The eldest princess gave the Grand Empress Dowager a Pekingese, but the second princess soon fed it until it was a Pekingese pig.
Rong Xian: Heh, heh heh, don't look at her. She had no idea the little thing could eat so much. It even stole all the snacks she'd been hiding!
Yinzhi, reborn but not yet given a single sip of milk from his wet nurse, heard his big sister's disdainful voice: Tsk, tsk, tsk. Red as a monkey's bottom, and so ugly! Nothing like your sister, who's as beautiful as a flower!
Yinzhi burst into tears, causing chaos throughout Zhongcui Palace, while the culprit had vanished without a trace.
At a banquet, a new young palace lady insisted on wearing only a single layer of gauze in the freezing cold. After her dance, she heard a girl's bell-like laughter: Hahaha! Which household's performer is this? Her hands are so cold they're shaking, and she's dancing like a duck paddling. How lovely!
The young lady, who was paddling like a duck: Waaah...
After that, whether concubines or palace servants, anyone who encountered Rong Xian wished they had four legs so they could run the other way. Only one fool came up to her with a grin.
Everyone else: Wonderful, wonderful! At last, someone can take this little demon out of the palace!
Theme: Live your life with determination.
