Blurb revised.
Songxue Linying is trapped in a game world by an unknown bug and can’t log out.
The bad news is that this game is full of superpowers, the mafia, detectives, and saving or destroying the world...
If it were an anime, the average extra wouldn’t survive one episode. Actually, not even five minutes.
Songxue Linying, who got stuck with a randomly assigned ID and avatar and jumped into the game after reading only its blurb: I can’t even smile.jpg.
The highly free-form game “Three O’Clock” officially launches a year after its open beta.
At the same time, Songxue Linying, who has spent years grinding levels in the game world to avoid becoming an extra, hears a cold mechanical voice.
“Version updated.”
After the update, Songxue Linying discovers that he can access a forum linked to the real world, and sees himself in the official promotional video.
What’s more, it seems, maybe, possibly... he’s pretty popular?
That is, he gets a whole eleven seconds in the ensemble cast PV, along with a screenful of comments about him not wearing pants.
#So I’ve been stripped of my player status#
#Might as well make do, what’s the worst that could happen, the world gets destroyed?#
What really catches Songxue Linying’s interest, however, is the fanfiction and discussion threads players post on the forum.
Fan art of Chuya in a streamer AU, essays proclaiming Dazai is the best kid in the world, all kinds of brain-teasing analysis threads, an ever-expanding official lore compendium...
And so.
The forum fills with players stunned by the new event story, which has gone completely off the rails.
Songxue Linying had only decided to make life a little more interesting after being inspired by the players’ ideas, but he accidentally unlocked new story branches and event content... and ended up becoming the game’s most popular NPC after his screen time shot up. Songxue Linying slowly types a question mark.
