The Crybaby Miss and Her Assassin Bodyguard

Pear Blossoms in Tears, Blades of Wind, Frost, and Snow

Su Mengyun is a pampered young lady who can't endure hardship or trouble. The slightest discomfort is enough to bring tears to her eyes.

Later, she comes across an assassin. Feeling sorry for her, with nowhere to go, Su Mengyun takes her in as a bodyguard.

Her bodyguard, Liu Wugui, always looks at her with a deep, helpless gaze, and even wants to teach her martial arts.

Su Mengyun doesn't understand why her bodyguard always looks at her that way.

Until Liu Wugui oversteps her bounds. Su Mengyun tries to stop her using the moves Liu Wugui taught her, though they don't even qualify as clumsy amateur martial arts.

Liu Wugui sighs. "I told you to take your lessons seriously."

"Y-you're out of line." Tears well up in the young lady's eyes.

"That's right. I was afraid I'd go too far, so I wanted to teach you how to stop me. But you haven't even learned how to run away."

The young lady is bullied until her face is streaked with tears. Liu Wugui looks at the noble young lady before her, flushed from ear to cheek and panting after nothing more than a kiss. How could she possibly stay rational?

"Don't cry."

"Y-you cad!"

"Yes, yes, I'm a cad. Miss, be careful you don't cry yourself sick."

Su Mengyun thought she had given Liu Wugui a place to return to and rest. Only later did she learn that Liu Wugui had given her desolate soul a chance to awaken.

[In my dream, battered by wind and frost, you are my one and only warmth.]

1. Liu Wugui is the pursuer; Su Mengyun is the pursued.
