The Almighty Shinigami Crosses Into Another World

I, Ashina Kimi, am a 191-centimeter-tall, baby-faced, busty (not really), brawny man. I quit my old job, took the retirement savings I'd spent years putting away, and settled in at home, lounging around in peace. I became a moderately popular streamer on a certain video site, and my devoted fans would occasionally drop by to tip me. Life was going wonderfully. After one of my fans recommended it, I got hooked on a historical game about anthropomorphic swords. I went on living a perfectly ordinary life, because that's what really matters. Then, just shy of my first anniversary playing the game, I suddenly learned that my game had come to life. More accurately, the game had been real all along, and they wanted to hire me to work there. Me: ? It's fine. I calmed down. What haven't I seen before? So what if a game comes to life? There's no way I'm taking a job. Not in this lifetime. I, Ashina Kimi, a 191-centimeter-tall, baby-faced, iron-blooded brawny man, am now a veteran Saniwa who has served the Time Government for many years. Everyone in my citadel is talented, and they're all so pleasant to talk to. I love it here. I take it all back. A few reading tips: 1. This is the Sword Ran dream guy story I said I wanted to write. It's probably Sword Warriors to Saniwa. Whether the feelings are mutual will depend on how things develop. 2. I don't plan to write an outline for now, so this may be a story written without one, with the plot going wherever it wants. 3. The male lead is an ordinary person with slightly above-average fighting ability. His strong points are probably his good looks and his skill at deploying troops as a Saniwa. 4. The timeline is a mess. Expect plenty of original elements, especially regarding the Time Government. Almost everything about it is made up. In the plot I'm currently planning, it's probably a good-guy faction that mostly serves as background. 5. (For now) the title is misleading. The story takes place in Kimi's original world from beginning to end. But since I have no outline, it might actually turn into a trip to another world.
