My Lucky Doll Is Super Cute [Crossover]

A while ago, I was hit by a double blow: I lost my job and got dumped. In my grief, I went to a shop that claimed it could grant any wish and spent the last ten-thousand-yuan bill in my wallet on a good-luck doll.

The doll had white hair and blue eyes. It sat hugging its knees, its head tilted slightly upward, looking sweet and adorable.

It could even move, and would kiss me of its own accord to comfort me!

Ever since I got it, my luck started to improve. I got healthier, and even my job search went more smoothly.

On the day I received a job offer, I ran into a man on the street who looked remarkably like my doll. He immediately noticed the good-luck doll I carried with me.

"What kind of thing are you keeping? You'd better throw it away soon."

"No way! Sugar is already an important member of my family. I'd never abandon him!"

"Such a pain. You're going to regret it someday!"

"I won't!"

Later, when a ring-shaped mark appeared on a finger of my left hand, I really did regret it. With tears in my eyes, I confessed how sorry I was.

The white-haired man shrugged. The exact same mark was on his finger. "I warned you. More than three times, in fact."

The fake monk with the weird bangs and topknot shook his shoulders and wiped away imaginary tears. "What kind of horrific curse is this? I will definitely find a way to help you, my child."

Minamino, once my high school classmate and now my coworker, looked at me with sympathy. "Are you sure your luck actually improved?"

When a bandaged man dragged me along in a double suicide and I really did die, I had no choice but to seriously consider whether my luck had actually improved.

After finally coming back to life, I began seeing all sorts of strange things. Then my childhood friend, who had been missing for ages, appeared before me again, with a new line of stitches across his head.

He took my hand and earnestly invited me:

"Mirai, shall we change the world together?"

???????

Sugar, help me!
