Nioh Masaharu is not a respectable person.
Naturally, the person he dates couldn't be respectable either.
The two of them had been stirring up mischief together since childhood, the undisputed kings of the kids in their whole neighborhood.
When they got a little older, they skipped class and climbed walls together, just to watch a street magician's pigeon act.
Later, one played tennis and the other figure skated. They seemed to have nothing in common, but each was everywhere in the other's life.
Marui Bunta asked, "That's a nice pendant. Where'd you get it?"
The white-haired fox replied, "Heh heh, my childhood friend made it by hand~ You don't have one, do you~ And it's not just a pendant you're missing. You don't have a childhood friend, either, let alone a childhood friend who can make you one~"
Marui Bunta decided to block him for three days, unilaterally.
A classmate from Yukigaoka said, "That little fox hair tie is so cute."
The pink-haired dumpling replied, "Right? My childhood friend made it for me. He's amazing, and then blah blah blah..."
The orange-haired classmate: @_@
For the first time, Seigaku received tickets to an NHK event from Rikkai Dai. A string of question marks appeared over everyone's heads.
A certain fox: If my teammates weren't busy, if the Shitenhoji guys weren't too far away to come, and if that bunch from Hyotei weren't all on vacation, do you think you'd have gotten picked for this?
On the day of the event, Seigaku finally understood why Nioh Masaharu had brought them along: to serve as human doll stands and people to toss dolls around.
How evil! That guy!!
Backstage at a gala, a friend asked Kamiya Hikaru, "Is that outfit custom-made?"
He smiled faintly. "Yeah, my childhood friend made it by hand. Isn't it amazing?"
His friend looked at his long black dress and wig, and silently nodded.
It looks great. But could you please stop making that "my childhood friend and I are the best" face while covered in fake blood?

In his spare time, Nioh Masaharu is also a beauty blogger. He posts makeover videos now and then, and has quietly built up quite a following.
One day, a production team invited him to take part in an escape-game show featuring an all-star cast.
Nioh Masaharu: Puri! Sounds fun! (tugs on his tail fur)
And so, what should have been a perfectly ordinary escape game became a showcase of a hundred ways to test the bugs.
On his first appearance, he used his illusion technique to impersonate a hunter, then openly and brazenly wandered around right under the hunters' noses all day, sending every last one of his teammates and opponents straight to jail.
The director added a new rule overnight: No disguising yourself as a hunter to confuse everyone.
On his second appearance, Nioh Masaharu used whatever was at hand to make himself a suit of "steel and iron bones." No one dared come within two meters of him. The hunters could only admire him from afar, and even his teammates couldn't get close enough to meet up with him.
The director added another new rule overnight: No wearing bizarre outfits to keep the hunters from catching you.
On his third appearance, a certain fox took matters into his own hands and made himself a little palace-style dress, then put on a wig and blended seamlessly into a group of NPCs...
On his fourth appearance, he put on a dazzling show in a mash-up world of Mary Sues, leaving the production team and audience completely floored...
The fox: Yay! I've achieved a world where I'm the only one having fun!
[Reading Guide]
1. The fox will keep playing tennis through university. Later, he'll join the team under Atobe, but he won't be a professional. Rikkai will win six consecutive championships.
2. The CP are childhood friends and grew up together. There are some figure-skating performance scenes.
3. The story mainly focuses on everyday life, with not many match scenes and some variety show segments. Mostly, I just want to see the fox stir up trouble!
