Blurb 1: Mo Wei is a sweet, cream-scented omega, but who could have guessed that his 1.7-meter-tall body hides the heart of a fierce alpha!

One day, he transmigrates into a book and wakes up in an insectoid world. Seeing the words "male insect" on his ID card, Mo Wei is so overjoyed he could cry.

To fulfill his duty as a male insect as soon as possible (and for purely selfish reasons), he goes on one blind date after another, searching for a cute, charming female insect. He gets rejected 99 times in a row.

What on earth went wrong? Is it really so hard to find a female insect?

In the end, he does find a wife, though she's the one who comes knocking. As for her looks and the word "sweet," they're not exactly a perfect match. In fact, they have nothing to do with each other.

"Honey, let me get that!" After being schooled by a forty-pound water jug, Mo Wei stares, dumbfounded, as his wife, half a head taller than him, lifts it with one hand.

"Honey, you go ahead. I'll protect you!" Before Mo Wei can even make out what's happening, his wife has already taken down all four burly men.

Well... at least she can't cook, right? Mo Wei weeps inwardly, comforting himself with this delusion.

Every day, he silently chants: I'm the top! I'm the top!

The universally disliked omega Qi Yun dies suddenly on the street, then opens his eyes to find himself back at age 22.

Back then, he was insecure and timid, a terrible actor who had access to a string of top-tier film and TV roles, yet still ended up being mocked by the whole internet.

Even worse, his brain had been full of static, and he'd publicly chased after the company's cold, domineering CEO. He even drove away his gentlest omega fans, who loved his looks, and made them turn against him for having no self-respect.

Qi Yun: ...Huh? Should I just thank the universe for this gift?

At an awards ceremony, Qi Yun appears in a new bespoke designer outfit, looking refined and regal. A host of actresses famed for their beauty become mere accessories beside him. He's so beautiful it's practically a crime.

At the same time, a few seconds of video showing his entrance shoots to the top of the trending charts.

Before watching: He'll promote anything. Qi Yun is just average-looking. Don't believe the brainwashing posts.

After watching: Holy crap! When did Qi Yun get so good-looking? It's the same face, so why does he suddenly have so much presence?

Qi Yun joins a variety show, and the haters rub their hands together, waiting for him to embarrass himself so they can make reaction memes.

To their surprise, Qi Yun is poised and gracious the entire time. He even steps in to protect a fellow omega actress from an attack by an obsessive fan.

The haters: ...Holy crap! I think I'm falling for Qi Yun! He was so manly just now.

Everything is gradually getting better, and Qi Yun's career is thriving.

Except...

Qi Yun frowns at Sheng Yuancheng, who won't stop pursuing him. CEO, I really don't like you anymore. Wouldn't it be better if we both focused on our careers?

Sheng Yuancheng's gaze is dark, his expression somber and serious, but his tone is enticing. "Be good. I just want to give you a temporary mark."

Qi Yun warily takes a step back. His pheromones, completely beyond his control, pour out from the back of his neck.
