[Detective Conan] I'm Freaking Out Right Now

Synopsis written on 2022.3.4 My name is Kinoshita Sakura, and I'm freaking out right now. I graduated with a doctorate in pharmacy from Oxford University. I stood out from the crowd at graduation and landed a job at the pharmaceutical company with the best benefits and the toughest academic requirements at the recruitment fair. But I've gradually realized that something seems off about this company. The leader of my project team is the author whose papers I followed religiously back when I was a master's student. Her papers list Shiho Miyano as the first author, but she signs her documents as Sherry. Screams often come from the lab next door, and whenever the security team goes out on a job, they carry a highly lethal drug developed by my project team. The fascinating Japanese boy I met while on vacation suddenly went to America. The beautiful woman in the paperwork department, who looks just like a famous actress and shares her name, Chris, has suddenly started talking a lot about a little boy who looks like him. Before my international-student boyfriend went back to school for a master's in human studies, despite having no background in the field, he was a good guy who smoked, drank, and wrote papers. Then he suddenly turned into a workaholic king and developed a fondness for the sandwiches at a restaurant run by a detective agency. I swear he used to live on nothing but black coffee!!! My name is Kinoshita Sakura, and I think the whole world changed after I graduated. I'm freaking out, and I really want to go back and get my doctorate. *Pairing: Shen Lai x Kinoshita Sakura, the workaholic king and master's student in human studies x the physically unfit pharmacy PhD researcher, an original sweet couple *Third-person narration *The entire police academy group survives, and Akemi doesn't die. Let me figure out how to bring Hagiwara back first. *Started on a whim, outline not written yet Theme: Learning never ends
