I Fled After Conceiving the Enemy Emperor's Child

Murong Xi and Jun Beiyao were the emperors of two rival states in a time of chaos. People often said, "Kings never meet," and their relationship made them destined enemies, locked in a fight to the death. But after an accident, both were ambushed and poisoned with a strange toxin, leaving them trapped together. To save his life, Murong Xi had no choice but to pretend to be mute and make love to Jun Beiyao. After the poison was cured, he fled immediately, giving Jun Beiyao no chance to recognize him. When Jun Beiyao came to, he ordered his people to search everywhere for the benefactor who had risked his life to save him, never realizing that his benefactor was the very enemy he fought against every day. * One day, during a battle between their armies, Murong Xi suddenly fainted for some reason and was captured by Jun Beiyao. When he woke up, Murong Xi checked his pulse and realized he was pregnant. Furious, he blamed everything on Jun Beiyao, the culprit, and refused to give him the time of day. Jun Beiyao was furious that Murong Xi, despite being his prisoner, dared to give him the cold shoulder. Yet even as he seethed inwardly, he indulged Murong Xi as he wreaked havoc and stirred up trouble on his own turf. Because even Jun Beiyao himself didn't know that after nine years of crossing swords, he'd already fallen for Murong Xi. * Later, after investigating all kinds of leads, Jun Beiyao discovered that his benefactor, the person he'd made love to, was the enemy he'd been secretly in love with for so long! But by then, Murong Xi had already escaped right from under his nose. In his desperation, Jun Beiyao charged into the enemy kingdom's imperial palace alone, only to hear the imperial physician say, "Your Majesty is indeed nearly three months pregnant." Jun Beiyao was stunned. The enemy I've been secretly in love with is carrying my child! What could be better?
