Making a Historical Figure Battle Royale Game, Watched by the Real People

My name is Li He, and I'm a game developer.

I'm the developer of a wildly popular card game where historical figures from every era battle it out.

It's perfectly reasonable to livestream the development process and run a quick beta test to build hype before launch, right?

But when things got unreasonable, who the hell gave the Underworld an internet connection, and who the hell gave the actual historical figures beta access? Qin Shi Huang, Emperor Wu of Han, Emperor Taizong of Tang, Emperor Taizu of Song, Guan Yu fighting Qin Qiong... Anyway, I got chewed out from head to toe, over and over, and the game gradually turned into whatever got the most comments, from rarity and card art to power levels.

At this point, I just hope I make it out okay.

I sincerely hope I make it out okay.

Holding a lotus in my hands, I thought, as long as everyone is happy. Everyone, just be happy. You've worked hard all your lives, so try to enjoy yourselves.

A farcical comedy. The protagonist has given up trying to fix things and embraced chaos. Rarity and power levels will always be set according to whatever gets the most comments.
