The year she graduated from high school, Lin Meijin took a ring of keys and went to collect rent on her mother's behalf. But when she reached the stairwell, she spotted a man and a woman hiding in the corner.

One day, Lin Meijin emerged from a bar, laughing and chatting with a man.
When she happened to pass a convenience store, she saw Ou Baiyu standing dejectedly beneath the eaves, smoking.
In the murky light of the rainy night, Ou Baiyu tipped his head back and exhaled a cloud of smoke. The next moment, he lifted his chin slightly toward the man paying inside the store. "He wants to sleep with you."
Lin Meijin's eyes curved seductively. "I know."
Later, they met at dusk in Ronda, Spain.
The fiery clouds stained the sky with a splendid, enchanting glow, and everything in sight was drenched in golden romance.
Lin Meijin sat in the driver's seat of a vintage convertible. Rock music thundered through the car as she slowly lowered her sunglasses and raised her chin slightly toward Ou Baiyu in the distance. "Do you dare run away with me before sunset?"
