Shen Yanru's grandfather has died, leaving behind a will.
The will says that everything goes to Shen Yanru, on the condition that he doesn't divorce Chen Shiyu, his wife from an arranged marriage. If they do divorce, the entire inheritance automatically goes to Chen Shiyu.
So Chen Shiyu tries everything she can to get him to ask for a divorce, but he's an impenetrable fortress and refuses to budge.
Today, she dances passionately with a handsome man at a bar.
Mocked by his friends, he holds up the video that's gone viral in their circle, looking proud. "Look at my wife's new dance. Isn't she great?"
The next day, a relative catches her and the handsome man walking into a hotel together. They don't come out all night.
Shen Yanru gets emotional and tears up in front of the relative who told on her. "Look how kind my wife is, giving a homeless man with nowhere to stay a place to sleep."
The relative says she's cheating.
