Jing Tang has been unlucky since childhood. Looking back on his twenty-five years, both his parents are dead, he has no family or friends, he gets hit by a car when he goes out, and he gets swindled out of money when job hunting. He's had every kind of bad luck imaginable, one mishap after another.
Just after he lost his job because a client filed a complaint, a tall, handsome man who looked almost inhuman showed up. The man had an air of noble aloofness, his gaze distant as he looked at Jing Tang like some low-level creature from the beginner's village.
