Lingyu is a thousand-year-old stone spirit from the Bridge of Helplessness.
This is her first time coming to the human realm on a mission.
The task is simple:
Find the reincarnated person and make them drink the soup.
Find Meng Po, hand over the task, and that's it.
Unfortunately, she crossed the greatest nemesis she's faced in all her years as a stone: an exorcist.
She lies, he exposes her. She runs, he chases her. How annoying!
He goes to the temple fair, she carries the lantern. She eats all the food he doesn't like. Fine, she'll put up with it!
Once Lingyu has managed to finish the mission, she dusts herself off and leaves.
But the young heir and exorcist follows her all the way to the Bridge of Helplessness, lingering there:
"You tricked me into drinking Meng Po's soup and crossing the Bridge of Helplessness. Your heart really is cold and hard."
Lingyu: "I didn't, I swear..."
A scheming, obsequious stone spirit x a proud, sharp-tongued exorcist
