Eight years ago, when Ji An was ten, she inexplicably got bound to a War God System. After the System sweet-talked her, she pretended to go along with it, then turned around and walked straight into a police station...
To turn herself in to the empire!
Eight years later, the Zerg invaded.
After all kinds of hellish training, eighteen-year-old Ji An climbed into a mech and went to battle. With her formidable personal strength and brilliant command skills, she turned the tide of the war.
In no time, the mech pilot and commander codenamed White Tiger became an unstoppable force on Blue Star. Her victorious record drove the people of Blue Star wild with excitement, earning her the title of White Tiger War God.
Finally, two years later, twenty-year-old Ji An led the allied forces in destroying the Zerg nest, bringing the Zerg crisis to a definitive end and completing the War God System's ultimate mission.
On the battlefield, the System transformed into a beam of light and drifted away. Ji An finally laid down her heavy burden and returned in triumph amid the people's cheers, going back to the research institute that had raised her.
"Wham! I want to retire from the military! I want to retire for good! I want to eat, drink, have fun, and go to college!"
Slamming the spatial badge that stored her mech onto the table, Ji An, whose rebellious phase had arrived late, made her declaration.
As it happened, the war was over and the world had returned to peace. A wealthy family claiming to be Ji An's relatives had also found the orphanage where she had once lived.
What? I'm the real heiress? This is a real-life switched-at-birth story, with our lives exchanged?
After promptly packing up and returning to the Ji family...
Her family looks down on her for coming from a humble background and being ignorant.
What? Your family travels in all kinds of luxury cars?
Sorry, I usually drive a mech. I don't know anything about luxury car brands.
What? Your family even has a private plane?
Sorry, I seem to remember I own a starship.
What? The fake heiress got into the Imperial Capital Military University?
Oh, sorry, I did too. I'm in both the mech and command programs... Professor, why don't you try calling me "teacher" first?
Really, this is just a story about a max-level champion returning to the beginner village to stomp the newbies.
